Does anyone know the factory gearing for a Viper Brass Jet?
Any suggestions for gearing differences between BSRT 6 and 9 ohm G-Jets?

Our MAHOPRA club races what we call "Pro-jets", basically a HOPRA SS with brass weights instead of traction magnets. We run anywhere from 7-20 to 7-23 and some of the Wizzard Thunderstorms even use an 8 tooth pinion. I'm fairly certain my Viperjet came with a 7-23. Keep in mind these are all 6 ohm motors. The MARC club still runs the 9 ohm Brass class, so maybe they will weigh in on gearing for that motor. I hope this helps.

Yes, the 9 ohm arm car from BSRT is a G-Jet with 7/21 gearing.
Their Pro Jet features a 7 ohm arm.
Any preference between independent and non-ind. front end sets?
